Mortar Mayhem

The best part about most of the old DOS games is that you need brain and skills, as you can see for yourself in this title. Mortar Mayhem is about destroying your enemies using your abilities, as you have to shoot mortars using variables like speed, wind and power. Although it wasn’t the first, it's a fun game and offers features that previous titles didn’t.
Mortar Mayhem is a really fascinating game in this franchise of shooters, as you have to test your math and your instincts against your friends. The game starts with the set-up, as you choose how many mortars are going to battle and you can also name them, the game screen is nothing too fancy, as it shows you a big battlefield with all the players on different positions.
Although the graphics are no big deal, the playability is super amusing, since you have to point your canon towards any of your contestants and check the wind, the power and your angle to try and hit the right place. If you didn’t get it on the first try, well no problem because the trajectory of your last shot remains on the screen to help you guide.
If you receive many explosions, you’ll lose power and the chance to win. The final winner is the one that remains standing after all the shooting, but there’s more, as everyone earns cash to power up their guns and buy more cool fire power for the next round. If you want to play this game make sure to call some friends, because there is no CPU-mode.
Mortar Mayhem is one of many titles of this genre, but that doesn’t mean it is just a copycat, since it’s funny, entertaining and a great way to destroy your friends.
